Hiking Welch and Dickey Mountain in Thornton, NH

Welch Dickey loop is one of the most notable hikes in one of the best hiking regions in the world that isn't above 4,000 feet. This hike is a 4.4 mile loop hike that ends where it starts. During this hike participants will be able to get a 360^ view of the surrounding forest and peaks. In this view some notable peaks that are visible include the Trypyramids, Mt. Osceaola, Mt. Tecumseh, and the Franconia Notch. On average this hike takes roughly 2-3 hours. This is where students will learn and expand their knowledge of outdoor education.
